Collins Explores Williams Six-Wheeler

Drivers Inc.’s Ben Collins has showcased a spectrum of cars on his YouTube Channel, Ben Collins Drives.

But there’s never been one like this.

In this episode, Ben goes to the heritage center of Williams Racing and takes a look at the epic F1 six-wheeler, the Williams FW08B.

As he describes: “There’s been some incredible rule-bending exercises in F1’s colourful history. One of my personal highlights was the Williams FW08B – the six-wheeled variant of the ’82 car that promised to slash aerodynamic drag and drastically reduce lap times. Unfortunately, it was banned before it could even get to the starting grid, but I deep-dived into this incredible relic at Williams’ heritage centre recently with Heritage Manager, Jim Barker.”
