This past year saw Drivers Inc.’s Shauna Duggins add another honor to her accomplished career: Emmy-nominated stunt coordinator.
Recently, Duggins sat down with the Hollywood Podcast for Ep. 384 to talk about working on Netflix’s Beef, sharing her approach to action throughout the second season of the series.
Duggins said the stunt work on Beef was designed around the emotional lives of the characters, and that creator Lee Sung Jin saw the action as an integral part of the story.
“It’s also story driven,” she explained. “Whether it’s action based or emotion based, he intertwines them so well.”
